He also set the record for most goals in a calendar year with 91 in 2012, has over 410 career assists, and he's won a record eight Ballon d'Or trophies. Many fans consider him the greatest player of all time. He joined Inter Miami in 2023 and by 2025, won the MLS Cup! There were very few cards that were made to commemorate this massive achievement. In today’s release, we have the only 1/1 Messi Championship card for his championship in Miami. Several times when there are unique cards like this, they grade an 8 or 9. He became a professional footballer for Santos FC when he was just 15 years old. In 1958, he joined the Brazilian national team, where he went on to win his first of three World Cup titles at the age of only 17. We have in our possession, a true piece of football history!
